Good morning. My son was scheduled for a seminar this week in Florida for the Air Force. I hadn’t heard from him until last night when he called to tell me he had backed out due to Ian…Kids!!! Heard a report that said some areas could see 4 1/2 feet of rain. Praying for all of you being affected. Stay Well…Stay Safe

Glad to hear from you RJ and that you made it thru the night . That's an insane amount of rainfall I've been hearing about on the news feeds . I was watching one news feed from Tampa and they were showing how much the water has receded from the bay . They said in just a few hours the water has dropped over 7 feet

Hope damage in your area is minimal and you can hopefully start drying out soon

Just went out and checked, the trend is down, two more foot of concrete showing on the driveway... From the marks on the wheels and tires of the dually it's gone down about 4 inches since 0730 this morning..

Rain gauge on the weather station is 10.5 since I got up.. MAYBE we are on the downhill

Thanks everyone of for the well wishes... The clean up begins..

Most people that fuckup their back usually move too a desk job. If you can't sit or stand at a desk, the next stop is usually SSI disability.

Sitting for long periods is what's causing my issues. Need a job that gets me moving around more.
