Stopped in to get these tonight while my local store still had some. OF COURSE the cashier had to let me know I missed the 6 bottles of 13 they got in last week.

It’s been pretty sparse in my area for the past few months for whatever reason. I’ve had to buy my last few bottles of it in MD.

Great minds think alike. I poured an eagle a few minutes ago.

Maggie looks like a great drinking buddy! We need more whiskey dogs in this thread.

She’s a sweet pup. Someone’s hunting dog got loose and ended up at the animal shelter, pregnant and had a litter there. We know the couple who adopted her sister and they did a dog DNA test on her. 100% American Foxhound. If you ever get a chance to adopt one I recommend it. They’re a ball of energy but a damn good family dog. Wouldn’t trade her for all the Pappy in the world.

    It's a $60 whiskey.

    It's a $150 trade bait.

    Your call.

Over the last six months, in traveling to a number of non-controlled states, I’ve seen prices as low as $109 (Reno, NV) and as high as $299 (Myrtle Beach, SC). So relatively speaking it’s a decent price. However, you couldn’t get me to pay more than $90 and even that is a stretch. It’s all about how much you value the Blanton’s.

@jandrews recently brought back $60 Blanton’s from NH. When they show up in NC (state controlled prices) they have been $55 recently.

To make you feel really awful, I have 9 Blantons, of which I paid (directly or indirectly via trade) no more than $60 plus tax for all but two. Those were $90 straight up. I only paid that much to complete the topper set.

I paid $64 for Blanton’s at Buffalo Trace, the one bottle they allow you to purchase every 3 months.

I’ve never seen it in the wild, I think ABC clerks around here just keep it for themselves and the secondary market.
