Nope, there is no storage space outside the safe other than on the lid of the armrest. I’m getting a little molle panel that mounts there so I can store a little more.

400W. Hairdryers are typically around 2000 watts, just from looking at Amazon.

Well, this month has just been absolutely shitty for me. I’ve said it before but the update is back in August I had a door dash hit and run my parked truck. It took them just till last week to finally get back with me giving me info for an adjuster. I spoke with him he said even with my neighbor’s witness statment, they can’t do much because there is no video evidence and I could have paid my neighbor to say that. Then goes to say, if the dasher dropped off the order and marked it completed, then he was off his route and door dash isn’t liable for collision since he was technically off the clock. Said he spoke with the dasher and he has no damage to his vehicle nor recalls ever hitting anything. Absolute nightmare and my insurance can’t get my truck fixed till October. Sure they are covering it, but the fact this guy gets away pisses me off.

Finally decided to get a dashcam and went with the Garmin Dash Cam 57. Was able to make it a really clean install with the Dongar mirror power adapter and a 6" right angle micro USB cable. Completely hidden behind the rearview mirror from the driver's POV.

:fingerscrossed: and knock on wood that I won't ever actually need it, but it might capture some close calls/funny moments.

Led bulbs only require a couple watts. You know the led versions of incandescent bulbs that are like 60w equivalents? Those are probably like 5w. A string of 100 led bulbs for Christmas lights is probably less than 10W. LEDs are great for low wattage.

I used my Makita circular saw the other day which draws about 12A. It ran at about 1/2 speed but it was good enough to shorten a bunch of scrap 2x4s so I could fit it all in the bed of the truck and close the tailgate.

No, it doesn’t fit through the opening. You’d have to trim it down and put it in the safe when you install it.

Yeah I can’t decide if I want to give those slots up or not. It’s handy to have organization

I wired them up behind the driver’s side taillight and ran the hot and ground up to the battery. I already had the hot and ground on that side from a previous attempt at led bed lights from Amazon. They shit the bed after one day, so I returned them and bought the Matt Gecko kit

In fairness to him, he only half-assed it. Had he parked a foot or two towards the driver’s side, it would be full-asshole.
