Anything else needed for that cowl intake mod? I haven't been up on things for some time.

 

Was feeling better on Tuesday and then it decided to be Rocky and come back for round 2. Still on the mend, but still planning on going to the Overland rally in CT this weekend. Unfortunately.....AOAA may need to wait another year for me.

I've got too much going on to make it out to that rally unfortunately. Hope it goes well and makes it through to next year though.

 

I think i have the aluminum tube part too, but I painted it white. Ill throw that in also. I think you may need the piece that goes through the firewall.

ill bring what i have and you can pick through it as needed. I think i have 2 of these pieces. Maybe it was for eliminating the air box before the filter?

I'll have to search for the thread again to see how its done. Like I said it's been a while lol. I'd rather this mod than a snorkel.

I've been good. Busy as all hell with work. 80 hours just this week. My trucks just been sorta sitting and not getting any work done, either mods or maintenance besides the occasional oil change. I bought a daily driver to save on gas, so the truck mainly sits. But lately I've been getting the itch to work on the taco more.

 

I havent been doing much either. Maintenance mostly. Got into moto camping over the summer, and then the truck sits most of the time. Finally trying to do more truck stuff now. Its been built, so now ive just been doing stupid stuff like mid travel bypasses (or getting the parts together for that).

Mostly just want to camp and take fancy pictures for the gram .

I still like this picture from a couple years ago. You were thinking "not another picture. Damn overlanders"

 

yep that looks like me. I now have a middle finger air freshener. Work smarter not harder.
