    Never had issues with anything Logitech, though only ever used their trackball mice. My primary precision mouse is a Corsair Dark Core Pro RGB and it's been stellar.

    Used to rock a trackball, back in the day and no issues.

    I've had nothing but great experiences with Logi's keyboards (had several) as well as their headsets.

    Their mice however...just these last 2 failed me. Hell, my 14 year old G500S still works well (might plug that in shortly).

    Haven't tried Corsair anything yet...

    I'd use that Razer mouse I bought just last year, but the wife kept it and uses it at work :rofl::bananadead:

    Corsair's keyboards are underwhelming I think. Design wise they're beautiful but the quality leaves a lot to be desired and the software for controlling the lighting and macros is atrocious. I'm still rocking my old Cooler Master Storm Trigger, had it since like 2015 and it still kicks ass with its Cherry brown switches.

    I've never messed with their software, but from a hands-on perspective they did feel cheap. This is limited to those I played with and handled at Fry's (when it existed) or Best Buy. Their keyboard never made the list for me.

    CM Master Storm...man that's a name that sounds oddly familiar like an E8400 cpu (I loved mine) or 3DFX Voodoo or Radeon All In Wonder card.

    At work, when I first started they tried to give me some shitty brand new Dell chiclet keyboard and I tossed that right out for an old Wyse keyboard I found in the back of a closet.

    @BartMaster1234
    @Speedytech7

    Either of you have a few extra PC components? I want to build a 2008 ~era PC like I used to have.

    So I'll need an E8400, a 9800GTX, and supporting accessories. I know some things can be had for as much as a 6 pack but thought I'd ask before I go looking.

    Uh, actually I think I do. Pretty sure I have a 9800GT and a Core 2 Quad kicking around

    I'd love to rebuild one.

    If you do, and you're ok with parting with them, I'd be interested!

    Be cool to have one running an older OS with some older games like Crysis and whatnot.

    Everyone did :rofl:

    Even the Saphire 4850, which competed with the nVidia card, couldn't pull as many FPS and it was ATI's top card at the time.

    I ran dual 8800GTS in SLI before I got a single 9800GTX.

    It was my first build with all brand new parts, in 2008 no less haha. AMD Phenom x4, 9800GT, 4 disk RAID, 8gb of RAM (pretty damn big in DDR2 days)

    Fuck sounds beast!

    The 2008 build was maybe my 3rd? But it was the "most high end" build at that time for me.

    I was already back from deployment, and remember going on Newegg dropping almost $2k on new everything including a badass modular psu and even an armor series Thermaltake case.

    That case was heavy AF!

    I never had a RAID setup, I was too caught up in chasing the most FPS :rofl:

    slow booting and slow load times could only be cured with raid at the time since SSDs weren't mainstream or any larger than like 10gb

    Big cases were all the rave!

    That and going all monochromatic with LED fans.

    The one feature I liked about that case was the side panel had a latch and it'd open up like a truck tailgate.

    That's right, I think I just left my rig on all the time...I forget. I was living in the barracks at the time.
