I know you didn't ask me, but so far, so good for me. And I've done some decent trails.

Mine are doing well. I've hauled a couple of loads of fire wood since and it still squats a bit but better than before and unloaded, my ride height is restored without being harsh.

I added the Toytec AAL about 2 years ago. To me the Torch AAL looks exactly like the Toytec, just a better price.

Sorry for the delay. I've had no issues. I run a shell 24/7 and carry weight to and fro around town... the ride on the 5100s and Torch AAL is great, it's more stable than it's ever been. I swapped out my Duratracs for Wildpeaks and the truck drives like a dream.

I’ve been running the torch AAL With 5100’s for a little under a year. Works great in comparison to a block lift. Even comes with dampers so you don’t get the squeaky leaf springs later. Mind you it took 10 months for the 5100s to really break in. But they feel great(for the price) now.
The Dirt King LT kit probably helps too

I ordered this AAL and doing OME-886 springs with 5100's. As far a "Axle wrap", lift blocks will 100% give more axle wrap. Using AAL kit in the rear won't cause more than stock axle wrap. Because you aren't adding more leverage like you would with a lift block. Actually, it should cause less because the spring is thicker and has more tension. I'm sure someone (who thinks) they are smart will chime in and tell me I'm wrong.

why are you doing 5100 with 886 coils? What clip setting??

Wouldn’t the nitrochargers up front make more sense? 5100s are a lifting shock, and are going to be doing a lot of work on that setup especially on rebound.

I'm not understanding the questions. I'm going with the 886 springs because I'm adding a winch and bumper. OME website said they won't work on stock shocks, I'm guessing because of the length. I 100% could be doing it wrong.

Lot of confusion and misinfo on the OME coils. 5100s were made for stock coils.

I was gonna go OME but heard stories of them sagging over time. There is debate as to the tension rate on the stock vs OME. Bilstein specifically designed the 5100s to be with stock shocks though, and the warranty only includes them being used with stock.

Seen a few members who did it and youtube videos. I know Bilstein makes good products, so that was my thinking. You have info that shows I'm wrong? I hear a lot of opinions but few are backed by documented tests or manufacture sheets

You need to research more. Bilstein makes great products, yes, but it’s been known for years the 886 coils are not meant to be used with 5100s on the 3G. Harsh ride with premature shock failure, with or without bumper/winch.

If you are going to run the 886 coils, just use the shocks they were designed to go with, the nitrochargers.

5100s are not an impressive shock by any means, even with stock coils. The only misinformation out there regarding the OME coils sagging is from 3+ years ago. The newer coils with “x” on the part number do not sag when applied to proper weight needs/restrictions up front.

I also might hate you a little bit. You basically just cost me $150 lol.

AND YES YES, I know it saved me from having to spend more later. BUT I'm still going to cry right now.

No I haven't pick up the shock yet, and I'm glad.
