Played out? I think not. 265/70/17 C load with stock sport suspension. No rub whatsoever. Can’t believe these wheels didn’t come stock! Guys at Costco inflated the tires to 50 psi! But I’m trying to find that sweet spot right now, short of doing the chalk test.

Where is everyone ordering their rims from? I have a 2022 LR TRD OR on order. Wheels will be the first thing I change

Does anyone know if BAM has regular sales? I had the wheels in my cart for like $677 for a few days then they bumped up to like $880. I would have snagged them if I knew they were going to jump that much.

Finally got the tires and wheels upgraded (4Runner wheels and 265/70/17 BFGoodrich K02s). Also installed Bilstein 5100s on 3rd perch for a little over 1.2” lift/level in the front.

Absolutely love the look of my setup. However, the tire shop has tried twice to balance the tires and think there may be a factory defect with two of them - too much weight needed on them and still cause bad vibration at 45mph+. Also gotta say the E Rated K02's ride like absolute bricks.

Question for the stock suspension guys: any complaints? Feel like you should have lifted?
Question for the lifted trucks: any issues, regrets, pain in the butt?

New to Tacomas... have a built 100 series Land Cruiser, and now a '22 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Will take it off road, but not super aggressively. Hefty dirt trail and outback stuff, rutted stuff, but not climbing, not even medium/difficult rated terrain.

I would love the look of a 2" lift and 33" tires, but don't want to do the chop, don't want to rub, don't want the taco lean, and honestly don't want to mess with the default engineering that went into this truck.

Really want the 17" TRD wheels and AT tire (partial to KO2s). The factory suspension actually seems really solid.

Also don't want to invest $900 in tires then realize I want to lift it, and now the tires look too small :)

@salsa_verde2's truck looks awesome stock. @Northsouth looks about perfect :)

    Feedback appreciated!

    Thanks!

THe setup did exactly what I wanted it to. Filled out the wheelwells nicely, made the stance a little wider, basically flush with the fenders. Like the extra 1"ish lift. Feels proper. Biggest regret for me was the E Rated K02's. They ride like bricks. They'll wear slower and are tougher on the trail, but I spend 90% of my time on the road. Feel better when the truck is loaded down though.

What setup? I scrolled and didn't see you post your setup, or I missed it. What's your setup?

I'm running the E rated KO2's @ 35 psi. No bricks at all!. Might be the suspension?

I actually just upgraded the suspension for a level look haha. Just did a one in lift in the front none in the rear but upgraded the struts all around with fox 2.0’s. I love it rides wayyy better,
    install wasn’t too bad either.
