Made a folding tire carrier. Couldn't find exactly what I was after but was able to make it.

I’m having like the worst of time.

I can’t think the drive angle would be this bad of an effect. I’ve driven like 100 miles on it though tbh.

but yesterday i was in the driveway and I wasn’t sure if I was going crazy but it like wouldn’t go forward when I pushed on the pedal. I put it in gear a third time and off I went.

Today I go to chic Fil a after having my gf verify I’m not crazy about the bit of vibration: it happens again but I was in drive the whole time. I felt like once I stopped the truck started to feel heavy until it just wouldn’t go. Tried to go in reverse, park, 4Hi, turn the truck off. Wouldn’t go.

now I’m at chic fil a questioning why I ever even bothered to have something nice

    edit: I know I’m bitching but it’s a hard swallow after a 12h day

Woah, that's not normal. Does it feel like binding? I can't think your pinion angle would be THAT off

like I was able to force it forward twice for about five feet then it got caught in something. I assume the u joint is getting caught on itself. The pics from yesterday show the angles of the shaft, doesn’t look severe at all to me

I believe there's a taper to them for your driveline angle, im wondering if they were installed facing the wrong way...

Hard to tell from these pics, can you see a taper to the block? The thinner part should be facing the front of the truck if you can
