Well, as I posted a few months ago, my boy Basil had anal gland tumors. He lasted longer than first predicted, but we had to put him down Monday.
Last weekend was spent camping at Crystal Cove, then the dog park and a last walk.
    Poor boy just turned 8.
Spent his last minutes on my lap.

Here's pics from his last walk with his sister, Delilah. We're hoping she won't be too lost without him. Ok so far

sorry for your loss. Basil is now out there chasing unlimited squirrels and unencumbered by any pain or sickness he had on this earth. Enjoy Delilah’s company a little bit more, she’s grieving as well.

Fen handled Hurricane Ian pretty well.though, to be perfectly honest, the worst we got was heavy wind & rain.
We opened the door to let him do his business in the yard at one point(while safe to do so) and he walked about 3 feet into the grass before the wind whipped up, he turned around so quick. It was like a damn comedy routine.

Today, 1 day after, he's found a bunch of post-hurricane toys in the yard.

Same. It was a God send in some ways because he had a couple of serious issues that the monitors helped chart the why.
