I ordered a new brake pedal, shifter, and adjustable loweing link(0"-4"). I'm not unhappy with the one I bought, but after I ger the Rally Raid suspension, I may need the adjustability to fine tune it to the new suspension










And I wish I had seen this levers before I bought new ones

I'm really enjoying it. I just think it's funny as hell

 

haha it is pretty fun but also just looks cool!

 

I've been real pleased with this little bike. No buyer's remorse at all.

 

haha thats good man! anymore as much as i like my klx i get my self thinking of getting it fixed and trading it for a newer dual sport tbh.... i know once they are good they have no issues but man this rebuild process has been annoying

 

Good thing about the rebuild, you know exactly what you have when you're finished.

 

ya its just been annoying thou.. i think i got my timing off by like one tooth? so i gotta take the valve cover off and the auto adjuster out and set that again and fix a oil seap at the valve cover gasket.... and it seems my old oil seap at the bottom of the case is leaking again! so thats just great... really wish the bolts that are broke off were not broken but what can you do you know...

 

Can the broken bolts not be easy outted? I know that's not a word

 

soooo ive tried drilling them out and they kinda well broke the drill bits..... so im not sure haha im gonna take it to a family friend and see what he thinks but idk when ill be able to do that one tbh! i gotta fix two other bolt holes with a helicoil this week so it has a better tight fit since they are kinda loose because of bad threads....

yuuup now the kit i have is rather cheap and those old bolts are pretty dang strong haha so gonna try a better grade kit and see if we can get them out with a better kit so lets hope!

 

Ordered a H2C "tidy tail". The last one I bought I would have had to splice into the wiring and I didn't want to do that. This one is plug-n-play.
