What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I got those off Amazon a couple weeks ago. They were 50% or something. I knew I'd have to replace my OEM soon.

Had this problem, ended up being cv axles. Might be worth giving those a shake.. U-joint went bad shortly after that though too

I wasn't too happy about the BMW interior, but I got used to it pretty damned quick! The way I look at it now, is that I have a BMW that I can warranty here in the Yukon

 

I do landscaping in the summer and this past season had me real aggravated with keeping my hat from getting crushed in my truck, especially with two kids in and out. I saw some options online that were honestly pretty expensive and required screwing through the headliner which was not an option for me. Wanted to keep it as pristine and factory as it currently is. This is what I came up with. Had everything at the house so it literally cost me free$...it's kind of a quick mock up that I might tweak. Aka sew the straps together rather than attaching with a screw and nut like I did

I grew up with the MKIII and MKIV. I told myself it toyota brings the supra concept car to market Ill trade in the F-type for it.

Then they brought this out and I hated it so much, it wasnt even the BMW part that bothered me. Just felt like a bait and swtich.

Once my brother bought one and I saw it in person and drove it I changed my mind, the car really grew on me and I love it now. But of course since my little brother has one I cant copy him...

Im thinking of getting the manual version... once my brother gets rid of his of course.

Alignment tomorrow, but new SS3 Pro Ditch lights in the driving configuration. My plan is to change to ss2 pros soon and move the ss3s to the behind the grill light mount I have. Yellow light is important to me, last year I got caught in a few good snow storms where my Fogs (amber) kicked ass and all my other lights (white) made things worse. The Ditch lights will help tons.
I removed the "TOYOTA" lettering from my grill as well.

ALSO
I now want a homertaco grill, new retrofits (d2s or led) and some summit Dakar wheels in polished silver. Sigh, wish I had enough money for my baller ideas

Ya my paint was worn through on the edge, so it was nice to cover it

 

I like the Tacoma stamped in them......mine just have the same type markings as the bottom trim piece.......but, longer door on RC and no 3rd gen RC so those might be short for my RC sill...how long do they measure. You can see mine in pic above.

Yeah, that's what I had on the 05 AC....the thicker 08 RC ones go over the edge where your paint was rubbed off and on my 05, so they haven't been changed
