I've tried wearing in-ear plugs a few times but really can't stand them. Heard good things about earpeace. Maybe I'll try those next. It's just hard spending 20-30 bux a pop just to test.

Most carbs, even if you "run them dry" they still have gas in them, you need to drain the float bowls to make sure they are dry. I just put some Sta bil in my gas and leave them wet. I have 4 bikes and this is the way I do it. Heated garage, so I can tinker all winter is nice too...

Thats too much work for my craigslist power washer. The gas is at least a year old. Still have more year old gas to put in.

So glad my bike is not carb'd

It takes some getting used to. I feel the same even with bar risers. I have basically made all my controls more comfortable in the standing position vs seated. This includes my shift levers, rear brake, clutch lever, and front brake levers. My levers are actually pointed like down because I would get massive arm pump with them in their old positions.

I used to run the DRZ dry and then drain the bowl after every ride. Just became a habit. My mower, power washer and snowblower I would run dry but not drain per the manufacturer's instructions. I did just get a bunch of ethanol free fuel too to just make myself feel better about winter storage.

I do like the idea of keeping the clutch like a real trials bike so it can transfer into traditional enduro bikes.

Yeah I looked into OSETS for a while, but his first bike will be a STACYC.
