    Thanks everyone for the thoughts, got in this afternoon, the tail end feeder bands made us hesitant to head back earlier this morning. Lots of strong gusts today.
    Got in and found that we still had power, and as expected, the yard was pretty flooded.
    Not much for tree damage (I took down the dead pine before the storm to reduce the chances of it falling on anything)
    I marked the waterline from 2017 Irma in my barn, and Ian beat it by 3”. That 3” sure made a difference, I got some water in my storage shed that is higher up on the property and now need to go through that find out what got damaged.
    My mom lives on the next street over and her property backs up to my lot. She is completely surrounded by water, and during Irma she didn’t get any.
    Overall, I don’t regret any of my preparation efforts.
    Everyone’s safe and once the water recedes, life will get back to normal!
    Thanks to @Jtcmedic for checking in on me via text, been meaning to hop on here and give you all an update!
