    EGR deleted…

I connected the coolant hoses with a vacuum hose connector. Someone holler at me if I shouldn’t do that.

Well, it’s purpose is to reduce exhaust temps to protect the cats or something like that, but I have no cats, so it’s useless. Removing it won’t uselessly recirculate inert exhaust gas back to the cylinders, and makes the engine bay look a little cleaner and less cluttered.

And since it’s no longer uselessly recirculating inert exhaust gas back through the cylinders theoretically the motor should get more better and consistent combustion. I think anyway

    Took a couple pictures.

Finished up the 4x4 swap a couple weekends ago.

Scored these 235/85/16 Grabbers for a few hundred bucks. They are loud as shit tho. Hopefully they quiet down when I square away tire pressure, or maybe they are just old.

Pretty much wrapped up on maintenance and mechanical. Moving on to some cosmetics now.

Glad to see its all buttoned up and on the road again, nice job! Hope to be there in the coming weeks. Parts to resolve my LBJ screwup will be here Saturday or Monday and then its on to swapping the transmission and driveshaft. Nearly there.

Ha! You know, I have no idea. Previous owner had it on there and I still haven’t taken it off. For all I know it’s something offensive. Priorities of work, had to make it 4x4 before I messed with the plate frames, haha

I've melted plastic fittings in my coolant system. Good chance it's because of the turbo but I don't trust using them again.

Thanks for the warning, I’ll look for a proper fitting online, the store next door just didn’t have anything.
