Sucks to hear about your stolen truck - theres a special place in hell for folks like this. Wondering if the thieves used the signal from the keyless fob to get in and/or started up. Hate those key fobs with a passion and glad manual Tacomas have normal keys.

Can agree, sitting there for several hours when told to wait for a LEO to arrive is incensing.

    Sorry man..

Heck, just call it a horse or cow. That's what my ancestors did in East TX. Wait it was pigs, I think. Anyways, shot the people who stole em, then had a family war, then shot it out with the local police, then a posse, then the Texas Rangers, then another posse I think. Yeah, my ancestors didn't really take the high road.

Everyone was more violent and territorial in the past. Everyone's ancestors, at some point, were crazy tribal cavemen.

Says the person with the screen name SlappingKittens..haha..

But seriously, while I understand and agree with the anger (both in particular and with the general issue of theft), a material possession can always be replaced and isn't worth the years of legal proceedings, fees, etc

Wondering if this was stolen by means of towing. Those repo pickups with tire lifts in the bed can swing down, clamp around tires, lift up the drive side and be "gone in 60 seconds".

Honestly this thread has gone completely sideways. The OP got his shit stolen out of his driveway and you're talkin crap on him. Move to any reasonable size city and this kind of thing happens all too frequently. Dont be a dick

It happens in the country also. The cops don’t care about your stolen items and will not do anything about it. I’m
Very sorry it happened to you glad you have insurance.

Sorry to offend you buddy; I'll say I'm one of the maybe 3-4 people who gave OP solid advice that he blatantly chose to ignore, while others encouraged him to go in guns blazing by himself (and were serious). Maybe focus on those members a little more, or just understand that people make jokes on the internet. See below:
