That is undoubtedly THE best Taco to ever roll out of a Toyota factory.

    (100%objective, of course!)

IF it was a manual, I’d buy it!:D

I love my LunaRock tundra pro 21. I’m looking at also adding a Tacoma but leaning away from another Pro cause of the prices. I’m leaning at buying a sport and modding it myself. I’m watching used prices a lot. I’m always following the car market. There are so many used Tacomas on auto trader. Just my opinion we may be soon seeing the market changing soon
and might be a good time to find a used one for a lot less money. But I’m no rush to buy another truck so I can take my time looking.

Definitely not loving the price, but Pros have always been expensive and held value. I think the 2024 could be a huge factor in future valuations, but there are a lot of unconfirmed details.

Yeah I agree and maybe why there are so many Tacomas for sale guys anticipate hope not to buy the new generation. Who knows. Yeah I got my tundra Pro msrp and it’s not going anywhere.

Just test drove it. It's a nice truck, been through sand and tall grass at the most. No damage or even large scrapes on the undercarriage or even the skid plate.

The shiftiness of the trans is horrible with those 33's. Seems to be worse than my 18 Sport with 33s.

The color is pretty nice in person.

I think I'm going to pass.

Typical back and forth dealership crap, with the best offer from my trade in as I was walking out the door. I had them run some numbers on a 23 Premium Sport, and it added up to the same price as the used Pro with a $3995 markup plus other fees.

If they would have gave me a better trade in offer from the start, it would have been less awkward regardless of the markups. It's like a double screwing.

If you’re willing to drive a little bit this dealer doesn’t have a markup.

I had to drive around 500 miles to avoid a 7k dealer markup when I bought last December.

There is no way I would pay over msrp for a sport or off road. Even a Pro I won’t’. I have had numerous Pros and never paid over msrp. As long as someone keeps paying the dealerships are going to keep doing it.
The local dealer I bought my 21 tundra pro being a repeat customer they will give me a Tacoma pro msrp. But I can get a sport for a lot less.

Many are not fans of buying into the early years of a new generation.

I'm the same way. Bought a new 2015 right before 2016 came out. Got into a new 2018 a few years later.

I have to admit, I think that would be the perfect PRO for me if I were in the market  They would have to take care of me on the trade and not play there stupid add-on cost game but I could convince myself to pay $50K and change for that truck.

When you make your decision, and I'll admit I don't know anything about Florida taxes or where you live, but where I live the trade-in discount off the state taxes paid on the truck resulting from the trade would be a significant discount on the out-the-door price of the truck.

I'm sure you are aware but I have to tell you, that is one sharp looking Tacoma, inside and out and a lot of other reasons to see how hungry the dealer is. Stay safe and good luck through the f--Kin hurricane and with whatever you decide on the PRO.

In FL sales tax is the difference between sale price and trade in. I told them what I want to make it work, but I doubt they will get me there. It's definitely a cool looking truck, and way more reliable than my current one. If I did buy it, I would get rid of the K02s and probably swap the sliders for steps for my wife.

We made it through the Hurricane in Tampa fortunately. Just lost power for 18 hours, but nothing crazy like south of here.
