I mean it sort of looks like an Outback of that era. I had one with a failed head gasket in my driveway for 2 years. My roommate refused to do anything with it.

Any time we're lucky enough to have rainfall at night we leave the bedroom windows wide open, nothing more relaxing than going to sleep to the sound of rain.

I didn't know it rains in SoCal, figured you get other type of weather like fire, dust, hot, and crispy

One of the best things about sleeping outside in the PNW was rain hitting the non-insulated roofs of my various vehicles. I miss it frequently

I broke my back over 18yrs ago and I'm allergic to narcotics and NSAIDs so pot is the only thing that let's me function like a normal human being, legit thankyou tho.. appreciate the concern

Zanes right and drinking isn't good therapy but it's nice to help loosen the collar so you can vent to a firepit.

TLDR: landlord went home in June for "2 months" beginning of june. Grey water pipe breaks under house, causes massive mold bloom that hospitalized my SO. Landlord in Czech and impossible to get a hold of, takes over a week to respond telling me he'll take care of it when he gets back. Tell him he's required to do something and we cant wait that long.. I take care of it (I've been his repair guy in the past and he's always "paid" me by taking it off rent) and send him an invoice, Sept 1 he's still not back and I tell him I'll pay his rent if he pays what I'm owed, otherwise I'm spending the rent to pay down part of the invoice. 28 days go by, still no response. Send him an updated invoice showing what bills got paid with that money and telling him the same thing will happen in october..

Hear back from him in the form of an informal eviction notice via text (he'll be back in 2wks), with something formal written saying I have to be gone Dec 1. And that I'm an asshole and I've ruined his vacation. But it's just me that has to leave and my SO can stay (he's had the hots for her since she moved out here)

jesus man that sounds like a hot mess :( hope there's a better resolution to this but it sounds like long term it might just be better to distance yourself from this dude. Moving sucks though especially when your hand is being forced. Guy sounds like a real POS

Thank you. Yea it's been a helluva past few months I just finally hit a breaking point today with it. The shitty thing is we're trying to move cross country in a year so having spend outta of the moving savings just to get a temp new place out here, and that really feels like a kick in the teeth. Silver lining is a friend of a friend has a rental available soon as the renovations are done and he'll only charge 300 more a month than our current rate (which is still reasonable for a 2bd up here) problem is I'm kinda friends with that guy too, and he's worse with time than I am so i dont know how accurate his available nov 1 time frame actually is:bananadead:

Shit. Ouch. I'm with Ryan on this - GTFO if at all possible. Yeah, its going to blow eating that work and having to spend even more just to get you housed temporarily until the move but this guy sounds like a class 1 asshat. Hope it works out, can't imagine the bullshit you've had to endure with repairs. Square breathing brother...

It is a bit quiet but that's ok. I'm asking a pretty penny for mine. If the right buyer comes along, great. If not it it's not like it costs me much more than insurance.

grab a toilet plunger and suck out that dent on the passenger box side, its the exterior that's off putting on yours, the rest is a decent deal

I was thinking inflating a basketball in there would be an easy fix. Also the dog box is probably scene as more of a pain to most buyers than a benefit to the larger buyer pool.
