Some images from the area my Mom and her BF live in the winter. They're not down there now. I don't know what the extent of the damage is yet, but it looks like it could be significant.

    :(

It sounds like one of my mom's boyfriend's friends was determined to ride it out. Now they can't get in touch with him.

I did see one post on the Facebook group. My mom referred me to where some people were stuck on the island and concerned about drowning. I didn't see if they had been rescued or not.

No power and no cell signal, so no contact doesn't necessarily mean bad news. Fingers crossed for them

Damn, they really got hit. My former neighbor moved to Venice, they were just north of the eye wall. They posted video of their home with no damage on Facebook this morning. What a difference a few miles makes.
I hope everyone is ok down there.

Hopefully one of the neighbors down there can get some pictures in the next day or two. For all we know, the house could be fine, or the house could be gone.

Ideally there will be some non-critical damage, but nothing too serious, only so they can point to and have tall tales to tell of the epic night!

Think this would fit a third gen since you’re ditching the tailgate?

Thought I'd pull the suspension talk into the general thread.

Personally if I was only getting one set of shocks with adjusters I'd get them in the rear. I almost never adjust my fronts but adjust the rear as the load being carried changes. But my use is different I go from camping load out to empty where you're loaded all the time. Just something to think about though.

    3. In is pushing it with the tacos. You start seeing driveline vibrations and CV boot failures at that point. Best to keep it at 2

I acknowledge that those things may occur at 3"; however, that is a risk I am willing to make. Besides, the rear is already done and I need to raise the front to match now... And, 35's. And I like to get into places that might require more. Cool factor too...

    Lift doesn't allow tire clearance.
