I know this sounds random but I always try to park into the wind in a parking lot.
Why did I start doing this many years ago? I have no idea But, it works..
    Glad everything is ok

How far behind I am in post, I'm not even certain what day it is but believe it's Friday.
Actually sleeping decent from about 7 AM - 2PM about the same as usual.
I think the truck would be better with a more period correct cabover camper.
Last night I had to machine a 14" butterfly valve. It was 7.25" flange to flange and our application takes a 'special order' 7" flange to flange thickness. Terribly lacking work instructions just said make it like the old part in warehouse.
In the back of my mind I'm thinking I'll be making a spacer when they go to install it:duh:

Dang storm is right over us now. Not too bad. Some fairly high winds and moderate rain.

I accidentally cross posted this to another thread, but the short version is that @six5crèéd is the man. 2C8DE249-4144-460C-9977-E02A93768E10.jpg108CBCE1-7AEC-4EF3-83C7-B65DB35DC593.jpg

It was a glorious fall day here (sorry storm people), sunny and around 68 F, so it was wash everything day. Absent from photo is the car (already back in the garage) and my wife's bicycle. I forgot about it and did it last. Good thing since it was the dirtiest job. Cleaned the chain and sprockets which was a mess. I think I used dirt bike chain lube on it, so it was sticky and dirty.

That thread consumed the better part of a week...
Like an accident, you know you shouldn't slow down to look but the compulsion is so strong. :annoyed:
