Nice. Yeah, honestly that would be used at home and then packed up for weekends

I am a fan of the cooking grate. Love me some campfire taters on the cast iron.

Hang around camp Sunday morning and there's a 50/50 shot you'll get a slightly used one free.

Im interested in the fire extinguisher mount. Probably the u-joints as well. I'd prefer spicer but for $20, I'll run whatever. Assuming these are for rear driveshaft?

I think someone said they wanted both.

But yes, they are for a rear driveshaft. I changed mine to a Tom Woods, and it uses a different size.

    Hello!

I'm super new to any of the communities; and I have a question.
I tried to read a few pages into the front and end of this thread; but I can't seem to understand what kind of event this is?

I saw the day passes and the camping rates and rules and stuff; but is there some kind of event schedule? Is this like a Con? Meetup? Competitive thing? Marketing thing?

Just a bunch of tacoma folks getting together for a yearly camping/offroading trip. Over the years, we've been able to get sponsors (for the raffle) and we have a big family dinner on Saturday night. It's good for new people to the tacoma group. You get to put faces with screen names, meet new people, and have some good fun while camping and froading. We do all sorts of trails, from easy (greens) to moderate (blues) to hard (blacks). There's always a few different groups on different trails, depending on your skill level and how built up your truck is. Some people choose to just stay at camp and relax. It's totally up to you what you want to do during the weekend.

If you're camping, there's camping rates with trailhead campground. Reserve a site directly thru their website. If you wanna offroad, then AOAA website is where you find info on that. If you do decide to offroad, there's an online waiver to sign. The day passes are for AOAA and offroading on their trails. Trailhead campground is the campground that's on site at AOAA.

This will be my first time meeting up with the folks here. Seems like a pretty loose/informal gathering.

This sounds pretty cool. I'm still working on getting a taco; so I'll see if I can plan for a spectator / camping opportunity :anonymous:

I'm in for the extinguisher mount.

Take whatever level of organization you think there is. And remove it.

I am stock just armored up. Stock suspension and tires.

    That said I'm not wheeling.

Come on down! As noted above I'm not taking my truck into the trails. I might when run out Saturday morning and take the dog for a hike somewhere nearby and come back mid day/mid afternoon and commence day drinking. Or ride B seat with the dog with someone else.

    Oooo another Saturday day drinker.

I think we need to adjust the thread title and ambitions here.
