Oh good for you!! Enjoy date night and cleaning camper….. yes, I said that, I love cleaning, organizing, and getting stuff done! Such a good feeling! I brought all the stuff in from the boat, it’s still at the top of the stairs. Yesterday Phil got home and I said I’m gonna try to take a load downstairs. I grabbed stuff, made it to the bottom of the stairs, threw it down, and ran back.. up I couldn’t do it. Not even with him home:frusty:

I don't hate cleaning but I don't enjoy it. The end results are typically what I'm after.

Baby steps. You'll know when it's time to break through. It'll come, just don't force it. ❤️

as long as you find your routine somewhat, it'll help. It may never be the old normal but the new normal can be helpful too. Do you have a gym close by to your house you can maybe go to? I love the gym. It's helps in so many ways. Sure, it's great exercise but for me, it's just time to shut off the entire world, put in my ear buds and focus on just me and nothing else for the time I'm there.

Can you get your husband to move the weights to garage for a while? Maybe that would help a little?

There are 5 gyms near me but drives me nuts to pay for it when I have one in my basement :angrygirl:

    But…….

Hubbs came home tonight and I told him I was gonna try again to put the boat stuff away in the basement. I DID IT!!!! I also spent some time in both of his rooms and bathroom down there….. ya know, hugged his pillow and cried on his bed:oops: it’s been awhile since I was down there cuz I’m scared (still working on what ever the hell that is) but also bothers me to not be able to go down there and see his things…. In a weird way I miss it maybe cuz it’s his stuff so I feel closest to him down there??
Either way it felt really good to go down there…. Hoping that’s the start of something.

Also, going to get the ninja tomorrow until Wednesday ❤️

Huge, huge and BIG!!! It was your time and you did it as you needed to. Your fear, healing and grief are all yours. What you did was a huge step for you and that is fantastic! ❤️

Thank you ❤️ I’m so hopeful that this is the start to fixing that…. Made me pretty happy to be able to go down there and then spend time in his room. Can’t explain it but it was good for me

Takes time, dont let anyone tell you what amount of time to heal is right. You took a big step forward. Tears arent bad, one of the difficult parts of being human. They help heal also in my experience/opinion.

I have the same issue about paying for a gym, when I can do it at home.

Way to go getting the boat stuff put up. Go for you conquering a fear, and spending time with your son’s stuff. I know this is not the same, but when I first got divorced and my son was at his mom’s. I would go in his room and lay on his bed. It just feel right, some kind of connection to him.

Yeah ! Little ninja is coming over!!!!
