My Uncle (by marriage) just bought a center console fishing boat.
He just called me today and asked if I wanted to go out on the lake for some bass in the end of Oct.
He’s 76, so he doesn’t like to fish alone.

September 23rd, 2022:

Salem, Massachusetts

 

I went to the Salem Witch Museum the day after first scouting it out, and it was only after parking the Murano in parking garage over a block away and taking my camera with me to the museum, I discovered a sign that said cameras and other recording devices were prohibited inside; I wasn't about to walk all the way back to the car when my tour was about to start (I had to buy the ticket online and the presentation started precisely at 2:45pm). I hastily tied my sweatshirt around my waist to make it less obvious that I had my camera, and nobody said a word. I have no idea what the big deal was, as there was nothing inappropriate or anything like that. My guess would be that if pictures taken inside the museum started circulating online, people wouldn't want to pay $16.50 per person for tickets. I was expecting a huge museum with artifacts, but it was an animatronic presentation with very realistic life-size people, and a relatively small museum. I would go again, but I wouldn't drive over five hours just to visit that one place. Salem is a pretty little down, but it's like New Hope, Pennsylvania in New England in the sense that tourism is its primary source of revenue.
