Is that a Tacoma or a Hilux? Tacomas are only sold in North America.

I had a hilux when I lived in Mexico and it’s the reason I just got a new Tacoma with the 2.7. Can’t speak for rust/corrosion resistance because we were in the Sonora desert where it isn’t an issue but those trucks were bulletproof. Ours was a 2009 and the build was very 80’s-90’s like, plain and simple, generally a work truck there. Very common to find them in north west mx with over 500,000 km of hard abuse and poor maintenance yet still chugging along

Once in a while I see a Hilux in Los Lunas, like yesterday morning on my way to work I see a silver DCSB from Chihuahua. It was a trip to see one. Also 6 months ago I saw a red SCLB one. I still like my Taco more.

It'd be funny if there was a Hilux spotting page here. :alien:

It's a Hilux lol. I'm in Sweden for a while.

Interestingly enough the only other truck I've seen over here so far is a new quad cab Dodge Ram.

Nice :) I've been to Stockholm twice. Really enjoyed the city. Fortunately it was during the summer lol.

People always wish they imported them here, but they have dainty interiors and diesels aren't all that its made out to be.

Still legendary, but not my cup of tea.

Yeah, the interior of the one we had was reminiscent of late 80’s American market models. The doors are thin with plane vinyl panels. The euro models are better equipped. I wouldnt want the diesel especially if it was set up to meet us standards. Ours, like most you see in Mexico had the 2.7 2tr-fe gasser like the four banger Tacoma. I recently bought one of these engines and it came with a sr taco.
