Well.... if we're going for the least amount of miles, our 2005 with nearly 109K is averaging about 6400 per year.

179k on my 2007. I bought it at 78k so we just rolled over 100k miles together. Had the leaf springs replaced in 2016 from the recall, that's really it (knocking on wood). Needing to replace the brakes next month, I'm thinking the power stop z36 kit.

I'd ask him to take another look at the frame, and do the hammer test if possible. You could also ask him to take it to a dealer and have them inspect the frame. It might in the time frame for a replacement if it's bad.

    Just a side anecdote:

I had an acquaintance in college who went on to become a member of a stylist team for Chevrolet. Not sure if they still do it, but back in the day, the next step after the drawings was to make/sculpt a full-scale model of the vehicle in clay. His opinion as he passed along to me one time was that the finished and painted vehicle always looked the best when it was painted white, as this was the color of the clay they used for the model. It showed the lines, curves, highlights etc. as created by the stylists, in the "best light" so-to-speak, and other colors would tone down the details somewhat.

I have only owned a couple of white vehicles over the years, but I always thought this was true, and the pics of this white LB access cab would seem to bear that theory out. Sure looks nice in white. Not sure if it's white, but the same applies to the earlier poster's 2006 Original owner 197K Colorado truck.

2013 TX Pro TRD V6 with 115000 miles, I'm the second owner. Bought it at about 96000, swapped out the suspension for a lift (UCAs, coilovers, leaf springs, shocks, etc), put a cap on it, and now running thru a series of upgrades/quality of life improvements to outfit the truck for long term travel. Pictures/build thread will eventually be posted, but not yet!

I was never a huge fan of white vehicles, but must admit for some reason I like a white pickup truck. I don't think I've ever seen a white Tacoma on the road, but like those I've seen here.

New frame, front brakes, tune up, coolant flush and roof painted at 155k. Hood being painted next month. Just did the oil and man trans fluid and the truck is super clean underneath. Washed and waxed regularly with engine clean and dressed annualy. Every time I start thinking about getting a 2023, as it may be the last year of the manual trans, I detail mine and think I'm crazy to get rid of it.

Wow, looks great. So you are putting 24K a year on. Why so many miles per year?

327k and I would say the engine is toast. I had a 420-mile drive to the dealership. Overheated on Garden state parkway twice. Had to fill will coffee and Pepsi to limp to hotel 3.2 miles from dealership. I knew I was screwed when I pulled in parking lot at 2 am and it was full. No vacancy within 30 miles. After a long cold night in vehicle, I was able to drive it to dealership in limp mode. I was worried dealer would not want, but they bought it sight unseen. Just as I was leaving the tech went to move it and it was out of limp mode and he drove it right to a new parking space. I could not believe it, but it was running fine. 2 hours before it would not even start. Moral of story change all fluids with high miles.

Wow, what an experience! What engine? It must still at least look pretty good if they bought it.
