    Oh yeah!
    My current Redwings ripped way sooner than I would have expected! They're made in Cambodia or some other foriegn country. The made in the US ones have never ripped on me or my dad! Might just be a coincidence:notsure:

    They make insulated ones but most are not made in the USA and aren't like the ones I bought.

    I usually just wear wool socks. If I need my cold weather/snow boots I have some Field and Stream 3M Thinsulated ones that are great.

    I've never heard of that brand before. I looked them up and then saw they were a Canadian brand which is probably why.

    Yeah, they are quality for sure but when you have to wear orthotics it becomes difficult to get fit right.

    I like the ones you got . Perfect for my work needs.

    I got these from my old job and they’ve been in the box 4 years or so now 2412 insulated). I have 3 pair. I have two other pair 2414 ( not insulated) and 2412. Had the soles replaced on the warm pair for $115. The other pair needs that now ….

    I got these (Carhartt) from my current job . They seem ok but I’ll know better after a few days . Got a pair of Georgia boot last year . Didn’t like them and gave them away to a new hire. I’ll likely do the same if I don’t like these.

    I've never tried Carhartts or Georgia boots. I've really only have had Wolverine's, Field and Streams and then Red Wings.

    The ones I have aren't waterproof either.
