Did my good deed for the month today. Gave my friends grandfather a set of spare taillights to fix his old ones. Bonus that he likes the halogen style better than the LED. Might try to fix the LED ones if I can get lenses from Toyota or online.

Oh I know. But the 2GR has always had a cartridge filter.....nearly 20 years. I've changed dozens of them. Not difficult with a couple under your belt.

Interestingly....the Dynamic Force engines have a spin-on. In fact, all my vehicles currently use a spin-on

    Have to ask.

    can’t figure what your doing.
Building rooms and carrying stuff through the window instead of climbing stairs?

Had to install two 8’ snow stop bars over the side door and it was easier to use the window.

I'd like to say I never had those moments with industrial equipment... but I couldn't do it with a straight face. Many times I've put down my last tool only to turn around and see a part that should've been installed five steps prior.

By biggest boner was I had just finished putting together a 727 Trans for a Chrysler Newport (I believe) and had the guy next to me help me put it on the jack under the car. I got pulled off it for a couple of jobs. Back then you had a lift bay and a ground bay. Went back and proceeded to install the trans. I was flying, going real good. Had it 80% in and grabbed my drink on the bench which was right next to the box that had the new Torque Converter in it. No wonder it just about fell into place… LOL.
