Saw my first one of those in Idaho today. Been here nearly two years now. Cheers!

Buffalo Trace seems to keep California well stocked, they must’ve heard 1/2 the state’s moving to Idaho and shifted some allocation.

LMAO you might be on to something! Funny thing is... I came from Texas and WSR was EVERYWHERE out there too. Eventually I'll drink through my Texas stash and have to restock somewhere. I dread the day!

It was all fine for me, gusts at worst to 40 and a couple days of rain. There was some significant flooding though locally. At high tide yesterday the water down by the waterfront was level with the boardwalk. Nothing that flooded any buildings luckily.

Nothin significant. Some minor flooding locally, but my property itself just has really well pruned palm trees and clean cars now.

Now I know many love knob creek, but for me, there’s just something about the taste that just doesn’t apeal to me.

Some people don't like the beam funk. Is what it is.

Knob Creek was my first introduction to quality bourbon. I absolutely loved it from the first taste.

What are your favorite bourbons, for comparison?

This is what’s fun about bourbon, they’re all different and everyone has different tastes. For example, I can’t stand Woodford.

Tbh 99.99% of the time I prefer to drink my bourbon neat from a rocks glass, I only grabbed “the official glass of the KY bourbon trail” tonight because my normal glass was in the dishwasher. I’m sure the fancy glasses don’t hurt (I own them all) but my experiences with a standard rocks glass are just as enjoyable and I greatly prefer to hold a real glass in my hand.

Just spotted BT Kosher Rye if anyone is interested. I’ve never seen that in the wild.
