Hey guys. I just went to PA to pick my wife up 22 Outlander. We had a couple hockey games in MD this weekend and I drove it back home tonight for the first time. Pretty smooth.
I noticed her Apple Car Play/Android Auto software allowed for me to choose FM radio while still being able to use the Google Maps.

Maybe it's just my old Andriod phone, but when I'm connected to Android Auto I can't listen to FM radio and see my Andriod Auto screen / Google Maps at the same time. I have to listen to spotify or Amazon music or whatever is on my phone. Does anyone know how to listen to FM while still having Googler Maps active on the display?

 

Not a clue…all the FM stations here are awful.

Just bought a 22-access cab. I pick it up on Friday. First mod will be a bed mat, second trailer brake installed, then wheels and tires. For next week I have question about the wiring of fogs and inverter. Do I need to buy them with new harnesses or are they prewired?

You're likely pre-wired for fogs. In addition to the lights, you'll need the harness reach the fog cutouts, a relay, and decide how you want to switch them (wire your own button, or swap your stalk)

I've yet to find a good/simple inverter add. If you do, let us know.

 

Thanks. I have a small inverter in my old truck that I just plug in. I was hoping to get a bigger one and have it hard wired. I need it for work to run a power mixer and charge batteries. I will check out the fog link. I just added a new harness a month ago. I will yank it out and my lighted switch before I trade in. I have a few fog connectors laying around. I went and ordered an oil catch can and uni mod. Still need to get air intake accelerator and ac fix mod. Looks like mine comes with a bed mat so I had a little extra jingle, so I ordered a TRD sweatshirt.

 

New here with my 2021 4x4 utility package. You don’t know this but ya’ll helped me decide on my wheels and tires so thanks for that!

Anyone running 33s without a cab mount chop? I think I am good except wheel well liner. I most likely will get away with no trimming but will be drilling a few small holes with zip ties and a heat gun. I will have to do some flex testing.

 

Haven’t posted in awhile! Nothing new except for installing some Cali Raised Fog Lights a few months ago.

Has anyone put the black Lund fender flares on a midnight black 3rd gen SR? I have some slight body/paint damage above my wheel well and was thinking of covering it by putting flares on. Can't say I've ever seen black on black flares in person.
