77 square miles surrounded by reality.
    Vehicle:
    '15 Black DCLB SR5
Tires, Softopper, fully armored, winch, many pinstripes.
Takes forever to dry and you need several coats.
Not only that, after the first use, it’s freaking impossible to get the cap off for later coats!

With the chunk missing? No. None of the apron boards or the legs were glued together. The only pieces that are glued together are the 4 pieces that make up the top.

If you ever try rubio monocoat you will love it. Pure is the one to get.

How big of chunk is missing? Might have to cut wedge shape piece off of it then fill it/glue with another wedge of walnut trim to match, if that makes sense.

    Satin poly sounds good also

I understand the individual words, but not in that order.
It's already wedge shaped, but I don't have any spare walnut.

I totally agree. I’m using that on a current project. I have a carpeted spiral staircase that my cats are destroying. I’m replacing the treads with walnut finished with the pure Rubio monokote. It looks fantastic.

They about 30 different tones of color. Pure is a tone. It colors the wood like linseed oil. I hope that makes more sense. Sorry I was falling asleep.

The small can of 2C is two parts. It has a amazing feel. You know how when you make something just right, people always seem to want to touch and rub thier fingers on it?

It is actually in the wood, not on it.

The pulpit I built for church, people still a year later comment on how cool it feels amd looks. No stains or anything seems to even stick to it.

I was going to ask which of their myriad of products to use. They have wood cream and oil stuff and wood wash and all kinds of things.

I'm thinking about using this on the hardwood floors in my house too.

Rent a floor buffer to apply it.

I rent heavy equipment, and a veritable plethora of homeowner tools as well. I send people to this website quite often.

    https://www.peteshardwoodfloors.com/

I tell them the same things, but his site is great.

    Also a rubio dealer.

It'll look sweet. Do you think it'll be a bit more of a decorative piece, than a daily use. The reason I ask is the epoxy can be pretty harsh on knives. I guess it depends on how hard of a set you get on it, and lets face it, its still a plastic so as a cutting board inevitably small pieces (miniscule) pieces will come up over time. I'd think for a charcuterie board or something it'd be great as there's nothing slicing into it, but if it's going to be a daily chopping board, I'd try and stick to all wood IMO.

It's gonna look sweet either way. Like the smoker pellet idea. Maybe try spraying a laquer etc on the pellets first and let that dry before dropping in for the clear coat. If there's any dust etc attached tot he pellet and it 'floats' off into the clear it may look a little cloudy. By locking that in with the lacquer/shellac etc you might get a crisper/clearer clear.

Yeah might go with a serving tray, im a little skeptical on using it for cutting. I didnt really think of spraying the pellets so ill prob do that also

I would love to be able to engrave bigger letters but that type of laser is out of my price range.

Laser Pecker, the cheaper one. It was around $240.
