I'll take that bet too. Lunar Rock and Cement are subtle classic colors. EML is a bold loud color. It will always offend some. But so will Solar Octane, and believe it or not. Lots of people hate on Vodoo blue

 

I hope everyone hates solar octane maybe then I can actually buy one.

Sadly nothing under 50K and its SET region. How did you get the california one to work?

 

Not sure if it was Autotrader or regular Toyota inventory search. It was the exact Tacoma I wanted. But that dealer has $15,000 MA plus I would have had to ship it cross country.

 

I still haven't seen one in natural sunlight....Does it appear more red or milky orange like it does in a show room with artificial lights....? It's really crazy how much different it looks in photos than with the naked eye.

I'll never forget the purple m3 and I'd buy it on a Tacoma any day. the new blue is amazing too.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Solar Octane will be easier to get then some of the previous years colors. Not because people don't like it, but because they are waiting now on the 4th gen taco.

I just passed on my second automatic solar octane. This one was only 500.00 above msrp

Auto to auto I'll just keep my EML but I'm hunting for that manual octane.

 

I’m waiting on delivery of a 6MT Octane right now @MSRP. I got lucky. I only had to call around for a few days and found a dealership 1.5 hr away that had one coming. I put $500 down immediately.

 

I took this EML thinking I could learn to like an automatic. Turns out, I'm too old to drive an auto.... I just like the connection with my 07 more. It's just more fun to "drive"

I have been looking for weeks in the south east for an automatic at MSRP with almost no luck. I have a deposit on one close to MSRP but that dealer has no idea when they will get an allocation.

I'm gunning for one, too. Hoping for good news in the next couple weeks, but can't say for sure.

 

My local dealer is getting one in about 3 weeks, i might just go take a look see. He sent me this this morning. Markup is 10k
