I have a 2.7l and want some more power out of it. Before you go saying “GeT a V6” I’m 18 and don’t plan on selling my truck. I’ve read some good and bad things about a KaN intake, LCE headers, and an exhaust. I’m just trying to figure out if they actually help or not. I’ve also heard about regearing to a 4.56. Not sure if I want to do that but if it could help me cruise 80 mph with 32’s without having to floor it going up hill, then I might.

Forced induction is the only way to realistically get more power

Supercharger or turbo. CAI, headers, exhaust won't give you anything noticeable

That’s a whole lot of stuff, I wish there was just a simple bolt on and go turbo set up.

I’m willing to throw in 2g but I still want to keep it reliable.

Unfortunately that's not how adding a turbo to an NA engine goes. A supercharger is much more straightforward but it's still gonna cost you more than $2k even doing all the work yourself given that the supercharger kit is about $5k

Simple, cheap, reliable are mutually exclusive terms.
