Yeah... I hear what you’re saying so much!
According to UPS there’s no such thing as an “accident” since everything is preventable. There’s so many acronyms and crap to remember, don’t envy the drivers at all.
One guy who’d been driving for 20 some years, was sideswiped by another driver and that was counted as an incident. Traffic cams, witnesses and citations issued to the other driver didn’t matter.
He was kicked out of the “circle of honor” (15 years incident free) for it. It’s mostly just a pride thing since it doesn’t affect pay rate or anything, but really seemed to hurt his feel goods since he bleeds brown

Sounds like our company. You would think they would want to take your side in a accident situation but it seems the opposite which I don't understand.

Accidents went up soon as ups sold their freight division. I had enough of their nonsense. Now the new company embraces all their crap as their own. Including wrapping every bag or barrel with caution tape like a thin plastic tape will stop a spill.

My work takes me through some crazy terrain. I damaged the passenger side predator steps because they hang down too low. They snagged on a few things. Figured I'd get something better. Only cost me $350. They are way heavier and more sturdy than the factory predator steps. These are actually functional.

Got my winch today, need to build a frame for it to mount into the bed and then get the synthetic rope to replace the cable on it. Its got a wireless remote, and I am going to put its own battery in the back. I do plan to extend wires from my stock battery to the bed eventually, but for now I will just use my trolling motor battery back there.
This winch will be used pull kayaks or my ice sled up a ramp into the bed of the truck.

I found that during my last road trip, I wanted access to my phone, but trying to hold and read it on the road was dangerous and a PITA. So. I installed a Taco Garage DMM today.

I have a glass one on mine that is very reflective. Haven’t really been bothered at all by it and it doesn’t reflect into my eyes.

Is that the rear tire? I was thinking that if it is, that the front tire ran over it and flipped it up with perfect timing for the rear tire to hit it while on edge. Just a guess.

Lol. I agree with you there. My family owns the company. I can write it off. I didn't tell them about it, though. They probably would've helped out, but they always give me a little grief when I buy something for my vehicles. I really just didn't want to hear them complain. Plus, these were so xheap that I didn't mind. I was very skeptical at first when I ordered them. Was going to get a set of Cali Raised LED ones, but at this price I decided to try them out. I wasn't disappointed. Actually pleasantly surprised at the quality.

The weight was definitely a factor I considered in the process as it's definitely the heaviest 27F battery and heavier than some Group 31 batteries. However, I don't really wheel the truck, so body flex isn't much of a concern for me. I did look at the structural components of that area though. I don't know what Toyota was thinking when they put that little hump there and didn't reinforce it. Probably one of the reasons as to why the factory battery weighed 42 lbs.

    Ebay.

I talked to the seller for a while because I was very skeptical about them. He assured me that these are rock sliders, not running boards. Said they can take the full weight of the vehicle. These are bolt on, just like the Cali Raised LED ones. Also, the step plate is removable, and they look like normal sliders without them. They also have a nice rhino-liner type coating on them, and also are powdercoated black underneath the rhino-liner.
