Most of the boys hangin out while I clean. They put the work in this week. @Sperrunner @Kwikvette

Painted from the front new section back to the leaf mounts. I used a foam 4” mini roller. Painted w a brush and then rolled it out. Fucking turned out perfect. Ended up redoing the whole front end. pic sucks. Has the slightest bit of texture to it.

Painted some coils w bedliner cause they are like $50 each. Fuck that. Btw, if anyone wants tons or a v8. Remember, 8 is a lot and the bigger the more expensive. My front axle has like $300 in seals alone.

Going on my 12th hour at the shop. Got a lot done. Did a full shop clean for the homestretch as well.

Things are good at 24.5 but I’ll prob run 25.5 cause I think it looks a little better. I’ll see when I trim a little. Gonna cycle once more while shocks are off also.

She looks good. I’m happy with the way it sits.

And the big ticket item. Harness hooked up. Gotta loom it up a little but nothing crazy. Just gotta tie into the old crap and terminate a lot of old harness.

That lift/hoist is awesome. What is it and what’s it rated for?

Hey Yota X, how’s it going?

Great to see this thing really coming along. I was there in the early days! Respect to you for your dedication and hard work. 12 hour build sessions? That’s awesome!

I suppose you’re not going to make it up to Vermont for The Pilgrimage this coming weekend, LOL. We’ll miss you. Next year!

Let’s touch base soon. Hope all is well.

That’s my go to do everything lift. It’s a 520 lift. It’s for duct work. 520 duct lift I guess. You can find if you google. It lifts 520lbs to 20’ I believe. It couldn’t lift my front axle loaded which is 750 I think but does it with knuckles on. Prob 650 ish up to head high.

Yeah, not gonna make that one. Hopefully soon I’ll be out there. Have fun man!

There is a telescopic one that looks way more sturdy. I see them at work.

    Got my radiator/fan setup.

The 10 yr old sweatshop kids usually weld better than this. Must have had some trainees that week.

And as I expected it fit like everything else I try to put on this beater. I’m running out of car to cut away. Condenser needs another inch or so. Right now there is a 1.5” gap between IC and radiator.
    7CF7C33F-8C4B-437B-8B59-118E926F584E.jpg

Had to remove one fan. Gotta move it over an inch so it doesn’t melt.
