I want my wheels to stick out

Ok so I want my wheels to stick out for a more aggresive look. I dont want to get new wheels with a different back spacing, $$$$$$. I dont do alot of off-roading and am just lookin for the look. I have 265/75 16 with (stock wheels). will a 1.25 back spacing give me that look?

 

I vote just run spacers.

x2...wheel spacers. Just remember that you'll be placing more load on the axle, suspension, and CV joints because of the increased leverage. Also, they may be illegal in some states if they extend beyond the fender flares.

 

i've been running All-Pro 1.5"F and 1.25"R spacers for a couple months and don't really have any complaints (the different widths basically even out the front/rear axle difference). the handling is good so far and the stance definitely looks better than stock! my tires are 265/75/16 also

 

VAcountry, you running 1.25?

 

Remove your fenders like I did to make them look like they stick out more. Plus I got wheels with 3.6" backspacing to help also.

 

Erik, that's what i was considering for a while. i have also thought that tacos just seem to look smaller when they dont have any fender flares (i have the large ones, which i like anyway)

No wheel spacers. Just 3.6" bs with 12.3" wide wheels and fenders removed.

 

Or you could just buy wide wheels 15x10" BS 3.76" -44mm offset.

 

15" wheels wont fit on a 2nd gen though. If they did, you can buy wheels with a lot less backspacing than that.

 

Run some quality spacers that have a good rep like Spidertrax

Here's mine with 1.5" Spidertrax spacers and the ProComp rims have 4.0" of backspacing vs. 4.5 stock.

 

Yeah I know I was just giving my specs to give him an idea of what offset and BS he would need to stick the tires out.

Will these work on a 2WD Taco or must it be 4WD?
