These are what come on I think about every Tacoma comes with these already, I just put a TRD skid so I don't need these anymore. They're pretty flimsy - can bend them by hand lol. But install very easy with 2x 17mm bolts and 6x 12mm's. I have the hardware as well.

 

Ah, gotcha, thanks, I must’ve misread and didn’t realize they were the ones I already have. You happy with your new TRD skid? My truck is new and I don’t go off-road much (yet anyway) but the TRD skid is on my list of possible purchases.

 

I dont believe so buddy. I think the mounting hole is just about 1/2" off side to side on the front and the rears were not even close if I remember correctly.

I'll let you know this weekend if I'll need them. Bent the shit out of one last time I was up north but haven't taken it off yet to fully inspect it.

 

So far. It's a nice piece, kind of a pain to install but not too bad. Only been on a couple of weeks so far but I'm tired of tripping over the stock pieces in the garage so I'm seeing if anyone wants them before they hit the dumpster Thursday morning. The TRD skid is aluminum but 1/4" thick - if you're planning on doing super gnarly crawling I'd opt for steel but for normal offroading and desert stuff it should be fine. Looks great and offers 100000% more protection than the stock pieces.

Wait till the TRD skids go on sale to grab one, every few months you can find them discounted with free shipping - I saved $210 on mine.
