    The resi fitting is a straight fitting. Doesn’t play nice with the shock tower.

    Yeah I just matched it the best I could to the rears that are stock. Ended up being about 3/4 - 1inch of space between the cab and the frame.

    Well I’ll be a monkeys Uncle. Actually dug into it yesterday and same shit, 12mm thread, 11mm shank, sleeve in the poly rack bushing kit has an ID of 1/2” so there was quite a bit of play in there. Drilled out the holes in the crossmember to 1/2” and slapped 1/2” bolts all the way through with stover nuts and washers, which I had on the shelf ironically, and all the steering clunks are fucking GONE. Of course now I need another alignment because the rack shifted and the steering wheel is off but feels so much more solid. Now just need to work the shock valving to get it comfy.

    Appreciate the input!

    Bumps are just super bumps, the shock still has more than 1/4” shaft metal to metal. Thanks man! I probably should brace the towers while I’m at it.
