That fuse is blown… it should be a solid line from one side to the other.

Replaced the fuse but the cargos are still out. Guess I’ll unbolt and check it out with the father in law next weekend.

IMG_2271.jpg IMG_2272 (002).jpg IMG_2269.jpg IMG_2270.jpg I finally got to installing mine this weekend. it didn't go in as smoothly as I was hoping, but I got it in. The holes didn't line up so I drilled out the MESO light just enough to straighten out the bolts to line up with the truck holes.
I was able to unbolt the factory light by only undoing part of the headliner, I just removed the two hanger clips and that gave me enough room to stick a deep 10mm and a ratchet in the gap. Also V2 cyclones fit the mount fine.

    A bunch..and no build thread!
Looks good! My V2's were also a perfect fit. I had to drill out the MESO housing slightly to line up the holes.

Were there ever any plans for a BD4-NMO-CAM?

I don’t think it would work. The cam is a pretty decent long barrel. I think there would be conflict physically. Not sure if it would be electronically problematic as well. I had a BD4-CAM that I tested and I currently have a BD4-NMO that I am refurbishing. Both are less roomy than you think.

That makes sense. I already do have the cargo light/keyfob issue, so more interference isn't far fetched. Maybe it's best to bring the cam or antenna to the tailgate. I appreciate the response.

If it helps any, I just saw a new Camaro where the cam is integrated into the shark fin. Made me wonder if it could be used to replace the fin on the Tacoma. Of course this wouldn’t work with a big honkin NMO right there in front of it…

Hey guys I have a BD4 I am taking off my rig and possibly selling. I am installing a shell and going back to stock. My question is did we confirm that baja designs housing on new rock lights is different? I have a two that are being replaced by BD because they dimmed over time.

Hey @LandLover, The housing of the Baja Designs Rock Lights has never changed sizes. The only thang that was changed was the aperture of the lens opening allowing for more light and heat to be dispersed.

From my understanding speaking with baja designs about a week in a half ago it should work fine I know just the housings were changed up a little bit not sure if it will interfere with the housing. Is your BD4 compatible for a 2nd gen by chance?

For now I have pulled out the fuse in the cab for cargo lights so the battery doesn't get drained and die.
