    I once did a job that included a concrete pad with river pebbles.
    I made this to make the sifting easier.
    (I wasn't about to buy the pebbles).
    1/4 inch hardware cloth, IIRC... very strong stuff.
    You could stand on it.

    I don't think I used the sifter more than a couple times :notsure:
