It depends on the backspacing. I'm not an expert but i'm pretty sure a 17'' wont rub on calipers. If you're doing a 285 tire, you're going to want to go with at least a 4.5'' backspacing, otherwise you're going to have problems with rubbing on cab mounts. I couldn't find specs on website, if you find anything else let me know.

Yeah +25 offset and 6" backspacing: The tires gonna hit the UCA for sure. Doubt you'll even be able to get them fully into position on the hub.

If you want a 17x9 rim, look for a 0mm or -6mm offset, and 4.25" backspacing.

For a 9" rim, -12mm offset is 4.5" backspacing, and -18mm offset is 4.25" backspacing.

-6 mm would be 4.75" backspacing.

what about some 17x8.5 rims have a -6mm offset and a 4.5" backspacing? will they work without rubbing the UCA?

If they have -6mm offset and 4.5" backspacing then they must be 8.5" wide rims....

If that is the case, then all the numbers are consistent with each other, and you are good to go without rubbing the uca with that setup.
