God I regret putting the heavy duty airbags on my truck Vs the regular ones. They are spineshatteringly stiff in the city.

That is the nature of airbags when you run them at higher pressures.

If your bed is not loaded you should not need your airbags inflated...

And too stiff a suspension is not the best for your truck or your backside and spine.

And well the stock tacoma seat being crap does not help either.

You could always sit on a pillow/purse if your feeling roughed up and sore.

I’m running them @ minimum. 5 psi. Still spine shattering.

They are rated for 8000 pounds as well… so that may be it.

Im lifting soon, so the airbags won’t be in contact with the cradles for potholes and the like.

Spent part of Sunday doing Toyota stuff, mainly harvesting a 3RZ out of a rust bucket.

Gotta double check my list before I call the scrapper, but pretty sure I’ve gotten all I need.

I’ve got about a month till the snow flies to get my 4Runner outta the backyard and into the shop. Then I’ve got all winter to yank the SBC and TH350, and mount up this 3RZ and W56 manual trans. Gonna be wicked!

4runner will appreciate the lessend front end weight...fricken v8 in 1st gen...ugh, it hurts my feels.

At least with the subie and a MT it will enjoy it's golden years.

Good on ya for keeping those wheels turning. I miss mine

Only reason I’m thinking of buying them over the icons is they’re 40 bucks cheaper. They look identical to the icons. I suppose I’ll simply buy and report back.

The guzzling of V8 and boredom of auto trans is not how I want to tour haha.

This is a forever truck. My 4th first gen, but by far the nicest of the lot.

The 3RZ is a 2.7L from 3rd gen 4Runner or first gen tacos. About +50 ponies compared to the 22re, and comparible fuel mileage. And potential for turbo
