Since you are a 3rd gen it may not be an issue for you. It depends how far down it sits. It would sit lower so likely cause impact with the prinsu. For the 2nd gen it it front and bottom but mostly front. It is one piece so you ould not be able to use any of it on a 2nd gen if you retain the rack or do not modify it. I have my front baja linkables and side lights so likely ill go under the knife again.

Anyone using scepters or other water there is a guy that made a magnetic mount for the Amazon water faucets.

IAlso here I was running off a water bottle but had an adapter that screws onto a 5 gallon Scepter but he is working on a few other mounts for the bottle end. If anyone is interested PM me and I can see how to connect you. If you’re on IG that’s best contact method. I’ll grab another that shows the other side that connects later if interested.

With the X1 being made out of Aluminum, I take it that these wouldn't magnetically stick to our toppers?

I plan to use it on my rear swingout. Some folks have steel plates for magnetic things.

Was thinking of this recently. Front runner has something like this for their racks, I'd like to do something similar.

if you are not running a rack under your X1 that may be a good use of space. Another setup I saw that was genius was when they put in bed plate in their bed they mounted it 1" or 3/4" raise. Something alone those lines and slide the table under neath the floor plate. I think it may have been the front runner table too but that was a nice use of space and did not use up much space at all. I would tag him but not sure his TW name.

what do people typically use for a bed plate, raised or not, if they are going to do a 80/20 cabinet build out?

It’s all plywood. marine treated is ideal as it’s better weather resistant. Goose gear is made from plywood then coated in a liner. if you wanted it raised add some 1x1s or similar under it then you have that secret spot for the table. I’ll see if I can snag a photo from him or link if it he posted. My end goal is an 80/20 bound when I stop doing other things.

Made the 15 minute trek from my house to the SP shop Tuesday and picked up #388. I never visited their previous shop, but their current shop is rad. I thought that adding showers for those of you making the roadtrip out to OR is a nice touch. Pretty stoked with it so far but won't have the opportunity to use it for a few more weeks.

No base plate for me. My 80/20 cabinet sits on my bed mat and is bolted to the rivnuts on the camper. It's very solid and has never moved. I've posted pics before in this thread if you search my username.

Found this table slide meant to be mounted for roof racks that let you use standard 4ft plastic tables. The only catch is that the company is based and ships from AU. https://www.kaon.com.au/roof-rack-table-slide-mount

Did the measurements for the 3rd gen and it seems like it should work out.
