That's okay, I need to post them in one of the for sale threads anyway. I am a bit confused, you can't run OEM lug nuts with your new wheels? That's a stupid question, almost all aftermarket wheels require different lug nuts to work. Anyway, these studs are the same thread pitch as factory (M12x1.5).

That's why I cut the ARP studs down, I didn't want to lose my spline drive lug nuts with my faux beadlock wheels (if I left them alone, the end of the studs would have pushed the cap off the lug nuts).

Yep, I understand, I just wanted the security of the longer studs since the spline drive lug nuts on my wheels were only on by like 6-7 threads. I didn't have any issues...

It's OK, I'm still thinking about his spinning bolt and how to fix it... that's weird and creepy :der:

It's the welded nut/ sleeve inside snapped and getting anything on it sucks

I broke off the welded nut inside a boxed section on my wife's Odyssey installing a trailer hitch to mount a bike rack. Fortunately we ended up trading it in and getting a new van. Problem solved.

Have you tried the prying on it method yet? Pry on the bolt head while unscrewing the bolt (or using an impact) helps to hold the inside still while you back the screw out

I haven't seen it in person. He just mentioned it the other day. It's a skid plate bolt that just spins. But I agree... take all the others out and use an impact.

Posted a Rigd Ultraswing that I will be selling. I actually bought this from Rick just before he passed; held it for a long while hoping it would work for my setup but it won’t be practical and I know somebody could use it and continue the legacy.

    Cross posted:
“Will likely move on from this.

Rigd Ultraswing. Multi-Fit version I believe. Had the rear view camera relocation mount. LED plate light. Might have a Rotopax mount too, need to double check. Has the current green Factor 55 hitchlink locked in place, I don’t have the key but suspect the lock wouldn’t be too hard to break.

Sadly it was purchased just before Rick (Unchained) passed but it’s not going to work that well for me; I’m towing more often and with the barn door style, it’s a pain to open all the time before the hatch.

I paid 1200; need my money back from the purchase if possible with the house purchase and projects draining me fast.”

I think I can get at it with a sawzall once the others are out. That'll at least get it off and then I can figure it out from there.

Hey this is 18 months away from being a concern anyway, anyone ever taken themselves off their car insurance for extended periods? IE kid went to college, maybe?

Intent is App. Trail in 2024, so I figure if it saves a couple hundred bucks, might as well yank me off the insurance.

If you have a significant other, have them add you to their insurance even if its for a few months before getting back on insurance. At least its an option, I don't know if going uninsured will count against you. Thats what my gf did with me when I got rid of my car and we shared, so I wasnt off insurance for more than like a year though
