I've been doing some searching and it appears best bang for buck lift is the OME 2", mostly just trying to get rid of stock look so I was going to get softer valving stock load with the icon add a leaf in the rear, or full leaf replacement from OME for stock load. I want to be fitting at least 31s for the time being.. I know UCAs are an issue so until I size up on wheels and tires I will be running stock. open to advice or words of wisdom

Why not an inexpensive spare lift just to see if you like it. If you do, then sell spacer lift and get a complete kit. If you do it and want more, then you can get a 2.5" or 3" lift. Just an idea.

Do the full leaf pack. EL111r and 887 or 886 coils and you’ll be pleased

There are many high in lift kits out there. With billet control arm and crazy shocks. Most 2" kits don't have a diff drop BUT it's a go idea for the lift of the CV joints.

diff drops are overkill in many applications, certainly not needed for 2-3” lifts on 3rd gens. Where are you hearing/seeing otherwise?

It might not be "needed" but it can't hurt.

Do leaf packs tend to squeak more?

not if you grease them and they are installed/maintained correctly.

actually have a buddy who is gifting me 2" leveling kit so I can go a lil high and get something bigger, I've read w stock uca leveled can go 33s..? input? I have the 16" black trd pro wheels stock w 245/75 I read that it'll fit up to 265 but I would like to go wider if possible, any knowledge if I can get that? not opposed to a mid sized spacer

Wheel spacers or cab mount chop/relocate are your options for fitting a 285/75R16 tire ie 33". You could go for 255/85R16 skinnies and with the +11ish offset you should be near even with the fenders, or close. Better mpg.
