    The guy on the right looks like one of my high school gym teachers. (In my school, that was the exact colors they wore.) He was probably in his early 30s and ran away with a senior girl. Back then, "She's 18. She can do whatever she wants." He got a job in a different high school as a gym teacher with his 18 year old wife.

    When I was not in school I lived outside.

    Most times Mom had me strip outside and hosed me off before being allowed inside for a shower.

    Actually, I was only born there; I never really lived there. Stroudsburg was my mother's hometown. Dad was in the Army at the time and they were both living at Ft. Bragg, NC. When I was about to come along, Mom traveled back to Stroudsburg and stayed with her parents until I popped. After a few weeks, we went back to NC.
