After rinsing completely, then pull the caps and add distilled water if needed.

A spritz of WD-40 every oil change prevents that - and WD doesn't get on your clothes like grease does.

 

It would make me feel so vulnerable, there is nothing for miles to step behind and take a whiz.

The older you get the more important it becomes too...

Going to Asheville this weekend. Ride around the Blue Ridge Pkway , do a little sight seeing, shopping and eating. Look at the leaves.

 

Yup that's what I use. We have some Blaster Surface Shield at work (same thing basically) and have been using them on the big industrial batteries recently. It doesn't wash off as easy as the red CRC stuff. These batteries need water added and spill over sometimes and so far the ones I've experimented with have held up.

 

Just checked Rice Toyota website. Says they have 61 Tacomas. Got the new colors too. Told my wife I might go pick one out.

 

So much for sayin' you're keeping the old truck around and don't need a new one

 

Lol, I'd keep the old one too. She ain't going no where. New truck would be for styling and profiling like Ric Flair.

Battery post was bad and loose. Terminal was basically welded to the post. Battery and terminal replaced.
