    Been about a year since i last used 4lo so i thought i'd exercise the gears a bit tonight. Damn, it whines like a banshee over 10 mph. pretty sure it's normal due to straight cut gears but figured i'd ask. might be low on oil or something.

    Not straight cut gears, just gears going real fast...
    Not low on lube, just normal. 4Lo is a low speed solution.

    I have the 2lo mod. I use in the mall parking lot to get my mall crawl on! Those speed bumps don't stand a chance!

    The noise is completely normal.
