Its a dealer, so I'm curious how much they've got in it. I might throw some numbers at them and see how they react.

Oh, in that case then they'll probably force you to take 72 months at 10% with an early payoff penalty no matter what price you buy it for.

Buddy was only able to get such a deal because he knows Subaru engines inside and out (including common failure modes and their contributing factors and symptoms) and the seller knew just enough to understand that his engine was hosed.

lol. Yeah. I'm in the position of not actually needing to change cars - i have 2 perfectly good trucks, but I am trying to move to something with a better back seat for road trips and such. But if they think I'm going to trade a perfectly good nissan for an overpriced and under loved volvo they're nuts.

Thats said - I get the feeling they may know they're not going to make anything on it, and they're also in the middle of rearranging their dealership, so if they're tired of shuffling it around they might just take the L to get some space back.

LSDs come from Tundras and are a direct swap into non-elocker 1st gen axles, right?

i believe so. both of them need rebuilt.. none of my diffs i have up for grabs are good.. they're just cores.

assuming its a 6 lug.. 5 lugs had the 7.5

i've only got a good 4.10 spare for the tundra and a 4.56 elocker for a taco... that may or may not get used soon. still need a matching front 4.56. ugh

    Yes

but just keep them in your storage and I'll have you ship them to whatever gear shop place people like

And then they can just send me the regeared diffs w/ lockers

    When I'm ready oh course

Oh it’s the second gen. Why would you disgrace this thread by buying a second gen? How dare you.
