not much you can do. im assuming its probably got original fluid in it.. you can try swaping the gear oil out. Toyota LSD's HATE synthetic gear oil. lucas severe duty works will for me in the tundra.

but chances are the clutches are worn the fuck out. if you plan on playing offroad i'd just run an air locker or elocker and be done with it. LSD will never be as good as a locker offroad

as for the leafs. factory was 2 leafs and an overload. recall upgrades it to the 3 leaf with overload. so no major deal. but if you had the originals its a free replacement lol.. my 07 is getting freebies!

    i prefer elockers anyway.

i've got a 3rd gen elocker diff.. no idea whats needed to make that work in a 2nd gen. im sure it'd need the 3rd gen housing being the 8.7 or w/e it is

Cool. I ask because Tacoma and 4Runner diffs always get stripped from the junkyard here but Tundra and Sequoia diffs seem to get left alone.

Maybe the pickers only want the 8" diffs.

Front diffs are also easy to find here. I actually have two 4.56 fronts on my shelf--one ADD (I think electronic) from a 4Runner and one manual from a Taco.

1st gen tundra front diffs and the rear diffs will work in a taco.. pretty sure the rear will. i think only the t100 had the odd ball 8.4

tundra is usually 3.91 or 3.93.. sequoia usually 4.10

What bent? ARBs are build like shit, they use those folding mounts which you absolutely shouldn't bother bending back. But you can usually buy them new for cheap. The bumper itself I would use the floor jack on.

the whole truck was supported on the initial impact on the left wing. so the whole wing is tweaked slightly.

i've got new mounts coming already. ARB wasnt my first choice. but this ones basically free and the 95s bumper is a bit beat

I'd find something heavy to bolt it directly down to and jack against it. Unless you have a porta power

I could be talked out of the ADD unit.

I'm going to hold on to the manual (and matching rear) in case I ever decide I need bigger tires. 4.56 and 31" tires wouldn't make sense.

I'd like to try 4.30 gears on 31" to get a little extra zip from my 3RZ without tanking my fuel economy. 4.10 are perfectly adequate, but the fact that Toyota switched to 4.30 for 5MT 3RZ trucks makes me believe it's an improvement.

Bastards for the shorty leafs are easy. Just need the leaves from a truck that last rusted out a decade ago there haha. Chevies are comfy riding tho

We should talk then, I only need a front 4.56 unit and really I don't even need the ADD tube or any of that if you want it. Just the diff unit. I have a line on a 4.56 locked rear but the fronts were missing, so this would get me a matching front.
