Hopefully you all get some sort of resolution. I had the same issues. The shocks topped out pretty harsh, and seemingly too frequent for any off road use. I was at about 2" of lift. After I put a winch and bumper on, I lost about a half inch of lift and the topping out issue was much less noticeable around town, but still less than ideal off road.

I've moved onto Fox DSC's from Accutune, they still top out harsh as well, but probably 50% less jarring. I'm going to weld some limit straps to the frame and LCA to soften it up.

Same for me, and I spent years as a ASE cert Toyota Tech (for what it's worth).

Good to hear that some people don't have the issue, hopefully a pattern can be identified and a bad batch found or something.

    Sidenote, I have factory UCA.

I am able to repeat the noise/"topping out" on just about any speed bump.

I went ahead and threw my gopro under the vehicle.. Maybe this can be analyzed from someone with more experience. It's a very violent noise in the cab and pretty rough. My stock suspension never did this, especially at 5mph.

    2018 Tacoma OR
    Stock UCA
1 inch eibach lift block in the rear, stock leaf springs
Stage 2 coilovers with eibach preset height. No other suspension mods.
    56,000 miles on the truck.

First bump I went 5mph, then about 6-8 and then 10mph. I hit these speed bumps at 5mph with the stock suspension and never had any sort of noise or thump.

Play at .5 speed at 0:31 - This looks like it's topping out?

@turner850 What's the two letters after the part number on the bottom of the black section of the strut assembly? Should be on the side facing the engine.

Will be two sets of number, followed by a x/x letters. See example image.

    Please share the letters :)

    Update:

After exchanging info with Eibach it seems that they are taking this issue seriously.

I highly encourage anyone with the issue to reach out to Eibach as Mark has instructed.

I will post an update if this solves the issue or not :)

    Mine say "H/Q"

driver is 22" from center of the hub, passenger is 22 5/8"

The rear is about 1" higher than the front after 5,000 miles. When I installed both coilovers it was perfectly level.

All lighting are led, wheels, tires, 5100 lift, pro grill, bed light, seat covers, door sill protectors.
I've even removed the spacers and used the supplied bolts, same issue. Even my buddy with his 2017 access cab. He hasn't adjusted his collar yet since the spring has settled. He's been encounter with the issue since. He wants to raised the front a lil more. But he's afraid it'll just become worse. And sorry no I haven't contact tech support yet. My truck is currently at the shop. I'll contact and get this numbers for you when it's out this Thursday.

And yes, everything is torque to spec and mark with a paint marker. I'm a tech at a dealership. So I'm sure everything is torque well with a well calibrated torque wrench aha.

Video audio sounds to settle to hear the issue. Can you try and mount the gopro inside the cab? Cuz geez my cab sounds like all the clips will crack and the interior is falling apart aha

Video doesn't do justice.. but its way worst in person, especially in the cab. Not gon lie, sometimes I be embarrassed to have passengers because of this issue. Its just mad annoying, and harsh to hear, as well a rough ride over those bumps, its like riding on bump stops. Other than that, does ride amazingly on road, and offroad such as gravel roads. Not too bouncy and soft like the stock suspension.

Seems like a low % of people have the issue, and it's from day1.

I wouldn't count them out. It seems like Eibach is looking into it and making things right.

And yeah.... Mine actually sounds worse then that :/

Damn, I was heavily leaning towards these too. What’s the alternative?
