When you change up the shock situation on your 80 series let me know. Mine's just a stock daily driver spec so I wouldn't mind picking the icons up off of you.

I mean, that does give us some *significant* points, but I know when I'm outmatched.

I just helped a buddy with some 2.0 Toytec Bosses. 5/8" shaft and no resis (not that resis are required obviously, but it means even less oil). I'm sure they are fine in 98% of cases, and of course most people don't really ever use their suspension for much of anything, but it was surprising to me how "not beefy" they felt. And each one took so little oil. Less than a cup.

And give yourself a little credit. We may have had to relocate our shocks a couple times, but you know Tacomas at least as well as I know XL. ;)

    AWESOME!

    Yeah for sure!

Be easy to just find a used set, through Jaxon even since he finds them for $200 for a whole set.

@JKO1998 how long are those Fox rears, or better yet what's the part number?

I can look at the box next time I'm home, the rears are ready to go as far as I know minus some bushings and hardware

Hoping those Fox pull 10" or more.

Think the fronts are 10.8" and rear are 10.1" on the Icons. Plenty of travel for a rig on stock height coils.

Less than a cup? Ouch, that really is very little. To be honest I didn't even know you could rebuild the toytech stuff, or at least that anybody stocked the parts to rebuild it. That's kind of lame that they gave them the small dia shafts too. My king 2.0 rears still use a 7/8 shaft just like the saw and icon 2.5 fronts. What did you think of the internals on the toytech? Did it look like corners were cut, every seal carrier have wear bands and what not?

I'll have you know I nailed the shock relocate on this one. But I'm still going to have to redo it for the sake of packaging this winter. I'm still not sure what made us decide that angling your top mounts down was the right call on our first try. It haunts me to this day, suppose that's appropriate for October. Your knowledge of XL is on an intimate level, we're talking "Valentine's Day by the fireplace with George Michael on in the background" intimate here. So thx :D

    Oof

I wouldn't want to go backwards, especially since LC's flex pretty well on their own already.

Right now with my setup, my brake lines are my limit straps :bananadead:
